Are there always places available in group courses?

We have a limited number of places available. To be on the safe side, we recommend making a reservation via our online store, or for special questions such as group bookings you can send us an e-mail. For bookings at short notice, please come to the ski school office.

Grouping

Which group should I book for my child?

See group descriptions on our homepage, or in the ski school folder on page 2+3.
If you’re not sure, it’s better to downgrade your child to a lower level. This makes it more fun when it can then move to a higher group.

Is it bad if I have specified or booked the wrong group/ wrong ability?

No. The groups are checked on the first day of the course and regrouped if necessary.

What happens if my child is better than the group?

As soon as the level of an individual becomes better or worse than the whole group, you can change to a higher or lower group after consultation with the ski instructor. You do not need a new ticket for the change. The change is made with the same ticket

Is it possible for our children to attend a course together?

The classification is primarily based on the children’s riding ability, language and age. If your children or friends have roughly the same level, it is no problem at all for them to be placed in a group together. However, we ask you to make this request at the office before the course begins. If the children do not have the same level but still want to ride together in a group, the child with the higher level would have to take the weaker child into consideration and ride in the weaker group.

Private courses

How early do we need to book a private instructor?

The earlier the better! During vacation periods, we would definitely recommend booking private lessons in advance via our homepage.
Of course, it is also possible to book at short notice at our local office, subject to availability. Bookings for private lessons for the time from 9:40 – 11:40 and the time from 14:00 – 16:00 are only possible from mid-December via the inquiry form and on site at the ski school office. Online booking in our online store is not possible for these two courses.

Do the private tariffs always apply to one person?

The private rates quoted are always valid for 1-2 persons. We charge a surcharge for additional persons. See current price list.

Are there also courses for children aged 2?

Under 3 year olds have the option of booking a private course. Group courses are not possible for children under the age of 3.

In which languages are the courses offered?

Lessons are generally held in German or English. Other languages such as Dutch, French etc. are available on request, but can never be
be guaranteed.

Is it compulsory to wear a helmet on a private course?

Helmets are not compulsory. However, we recommend borrowing a helmet or buying one from our store to improve safety during lessons.
